ID3v2.3 Tag Type? Also, filtering by case type...

#1

Is there and option in mp3tag to see which type of ID3v2.3 tags my mp3 files have (either UTF16 or ISO-8859-1)? This is because I have tagged some of my files in mp3tag and some in foobar2000 legacy mode (where it writes ID3v2.3 tags instead of ID3v2.4) and I'm not sure which files have which type of ID3v2.3 tag.

Secondly, is there a way of filtering the songs (via F3) or any other way to show me ANY tags that have ALL lower-case words, so I would like it to show for example in the title field "Eight Days a Week" but not "Eight Days A Week"?

Thanks for any help you can offer,

AliL

Use "View > Customize columns" to add a column with the value %_tag%

That doesn't quite give me what I'm after as it only tells me that I have ID3v2.3 tags, not whether they're formatted in UTF-16 or ISO-8859-1.

Does anyone know a different way?

EDIT: I've found out how to find the encoding, it's under the view -> customize columns menu, but with the valu %_id3v2_character_encoding%

Now the first problem is sorted, can anyone work out the second problem?

P.S. Many thanks to florian for writing such a complete program, it has every bell and whistle I could have asked for so far.

Then it's %_id3v2_character_encoding%
