# ID3v2 Artist Tag Not Working

I had all of my MP3s with ID3v2 and ID3v1 tags, but needed to touch some up, so I used mp3tag to do file to tag rename. When I viewed in Winamp, all of the tags wrote fine except for ID3v2 did not have any entries for Artist. Does anyone know what may have went wrong? Thank you.

You can change tag settings like here:

or update Winamp to the latest version 5.32

What string did you use in filename -\> tag conversion?
Does Mp3tag show the artist?
What tag types does the file have [Alt+t]?
