# Identifying mp3s with APE tags

Hi, I want to delete all the ID3v1 and APE tags in my MP3's so as I just leave v2.3. Getting rid of both is easy with MP3tag, however I need to identify those with APE tags first because I want to reverse out the mp3gain settings. Going forward I am just going to use RG and Sound Check tags. If I just delete the APE tags I am concerned that it will not remove the mp3gain from the mp3's. So how can I identfy just those files (I have over 10k of them) which have APE tags

You can make a new column with the value %\_tag%

Thanks - I have now got this column showing, but how do I filter for just those MP3's that have the APE tag and also what columns do I need to display to view the contents?
