# Including auto-renumber in an action

You can use the variable %counter% to find out which position an item has in a sequence and use the variable as contents for e.g. %track%.

Sorry to be unclear. What I want to include is Auto-numbering Wizard operation. I am aware that %counter% can be used, but I doubt that can reproduce the ANW function.

"It's possible but only for one album/directory because there's no way to reset the counter"
