I have not been able to find a way of inserting a constant string into a field.

For example, I may wish to insert "Recorded live at Hoopla Bar" into the comments field, or, insert the album name into the album field (when the album is not part of the filename/path) without having to manually copy and paste every time! (very tedious).

Is there a function to allow this?

Thanks,
MM.
