# "Internet Archive" leaks user info and succumbs to DDoS

Just for your information:

You may already have noticed that searching on MusicBrainz with Web Source Scripts [like this one](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/ws-musicbrainz-expanded/55909) is currently very slow. This is because the [Internet Archive](https://archive.org/) website is subject to a DDoS attack.  
This site is the source for all cover art for MusicBrainz:

The bad thing:  
It is not only the lacking speed, but they also have exposed user data.  
It is unclear so far, if the DDoS and breach are linked.

This is also the reason, why [MusicBrainz](https://musicbrainz.org/) itself currently doesn't show any cover art online:

(-\> IAWM this is not the Cover Art Archive, providing covers für MusicBrainz and WSS-Scripts).
