# Is there a way to change TempPath?

The portable installation uses this path as Temp path and performs cleanup on close — it's what the system returns via [GetTempPath()](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/fileapi/nf-fileapi-gettemppathw).
