# itunes screws up some of the tags from mp3tag 2.35

is there a error in mp3tag 2.35k or is it the new itunes version which
is making the error?
i have some virgin mp3 which i tag using mp3tag v 2.35k and write the
id3v1 and id3v2.4 utf-8 tag to it
i import it to itunes 6.0.4.2 and they seems ok
BUT when i try to reload them in mp3tag, some only shows the id3v1 tag,
on some also the id3v2.4 and ape2 tag are set, but it shows on most of them
a and as first character still when i import it to itunes the seems ok
i can even delete the v1 tag in mp3tag and reload it in itunes
what should i do - if its a itunes error then it goes a log time until
(if even) apple will fix it
but when its a mp3tag error what should i do?
delete the v1 and/or v2 tag or will that screw up the mp3 even more?
any suggestions?

Hello Adrian!
iTunes doesn't seem to support UTF-8 encoded tags very well. Switching to ID3v2.3 with UTF-16 should circumvent the problems.
