This may be intentional, but I figured I'd report it anyway. When the option "Keep moved files in file list" option is _unchecked_, then using an action to edit \_FILENAME which results in moving the file to a new folder, files are not removed from the list. I suspect this option was only intended to take effect when using Edit\>Move. There's a very old thread mentioning a similar thing but it may have been before this option was implemented.

Here is a thread that explains the behaviour:

> Yes I know: Mp3tag i not a filehandler. But it handles them anyhow and simply looses from on eyesight on a simple accounts of moving and does not care about those copied ones As for copying: it is a little of an overkill as most likely not many users would need that. But if the moving of files should be corrected then I see no problem of taking care also of duplicated files. Giving it as an option would not hurt those uninterested in them but could help the other users As for moving: that is j…

Could you check if that is different from what you experienced?

That thread only talks about using Edit\>Move, which does work as expected, honoring the "Keep moved files" setting.

It also explains which files will still be displayed regardless of the option's setting.
You would have to check whether the files that you want to disappear can still be found in the current working directory and its sub-directories.

The files _are_ being moved out of the working directory.

Yes, it's currently only applying to files being moved via **Edit → Move...**

Can you just use **Edit → Remove** Del to remove those files from the File List?

I could, sure. But I was hoping for it to be automatic, so that after I run my final action that moves the files, they are cleared from the list automatically so that there's no potential confusion over whether I've run the final action or not on that set of files.
