# Language changing (??)

My program is in portuguese.
**How can I change to english ?**
The installation process told me about changing language d u r i n g installation, but not the program itself !!!

There is now way to change the language after you've installed Mp3tag. To change the language, please follow these two steps.
1. Open _regedit.exe_ and delete the key **HKEY\_CURRENT\_USER\Software\Moebius\Install\Mp3tag\Installer Language**
2. Re-install Mp3tag and choose english as new language.

Additionally you may need to remove following file to get column titles into a new language choosen:
C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mp3tag\data\columns.ini
After removal this file will be recreated with strings of an appropriate language.

Please note that removing this file also removes any user-defined columns you've added before from the file list.
