Scenario: Using the Tag Panel to apply field tag changes to one or more selected items, all items in the list view are removed except for the item in the list that was clicked when exiting the Tag Panel.

1. Windows Explorer- Select one or more albums/folders
2. Right+Click, then click MP3Tag from pop-up menu
3. MP3Tag - Select one or more items in the list view
4. TAG PANEL - Click desired tag field in the Tag Panel and change the content to blank or non-blank value
5. MP3TAG - Click any row item in the main view to exit the Tag Panel, then answer Yes when prompted to save the changes
6. MP3TAG - All entries in the list, except for the row item that was clicked, are now removed from the list.

Notes:

1. Tag changes are applied successfully
2. This appears to be a recent issue. I don’t recall having to specifically pay attention to the area of the UI I needed to click when exiting the Tag Panel
3. Issue is not seen if a blank row is clicked when exiting the Tag Panel

Which version are you using?
I tried the described scenario with V3.34-beta2 and cannot reproduce it.

V3.34-beta.2-x64 and V3.33.1-x64.

I just tried it again and it still occurs but only on my second monitor (Display 2). If I drag MP3Tag to my left monitor (Display 1),the issue does not occur. That’s really strange.

what happens, if part of the file list is visible on the first monitor and the other half on the second?

Test 2:
Mp3Tag maximized on Display #2 (extension) - FAIL - all files removed except for file that was clicked when exiting Tag Panel

Test 3:
Mp3Tag launched from Display #1 (main display), then extended over and shared with Display #2 (extension) - PASS

Test 4:
Mp3Tag launched from Display #2 (extension), then extended over and shared with Display #1 (main display) - FAIL

Test Case 2 Configuration
Two Displays - configured as Extend these displays
Display #2 - configured as main display

Test Case 2 Scenarios:

Test 3:
Mp3Tag launched from Display #1 (extension), then extended over and shared with Display #2 (main display) - FAIL

Test 4:
Mp3Tag launched from Display #2 (main display), then extended over and shared with Display #1 (extension) - PASS

Test Case 3 Configuration
Two Displays - configured as Duplicate these displays
Display #1 - configured as Duplicate
Display #2 - configured as Duplicate

Test Case 3 Scenarios:
Test 1:
Mp3Tag maximized on Display #1 (Duplicate) - PASS - all files removed except for file that was clicked when exiting Tag Panel

Test 2:
Mp3Tag maximized on Display #2 (Duplicate) - PASS - files are not removed from list view following tag maintenance

Test 3:
N/A

Test 4:
N/A

Important Note from my perspective: In all scenarios, tags are correctly applied to the selected items even when the list of files are removed.

Thank you for the thorough test and the detailed description.
I could easily reproduce the test bed - but I get a PASS in every scenario.
So could it be that you have some other programs running that hide themselves somewhere in/on/under the screen/desktop which upset the windows manager?
(I have a fairly ancient system with an AMD Radeon HD 5700 and 2 1280\*1024 Eizo monitors. But they allow an expanded desktop. So, a 2nd monitor should be possible)
