# Location of user-defined genre

Hello, all. I just moved from Win10 to Win11 on a new pc. I have a lot user-defined genres, and I was wondering if there’s a way to transfer them fron the old MP3Tag application into the new. Are they stored in a certain file in the directory?

The easiest way would be to import the configuration from the other system:

For the user-defined Genres you can also use **Export** and **Import** :
