# Media Type drop-down list

I have a question about creating a dropdown list for the "Media Type" section. I would like to avoid the tedious process of repeatedly typing out options such as CD, MP3, music, music video, and others. How can I set up a dropdown menu that allows me to select these media types easily?

The feature suggestion to allow custom list-values is already on my internal wish list. This would allow pre-defined values to be selected from the drop-down list on the Tag-Panel fields.
As a workaround for now, you can create an Action Group _Media Type_ with one **Format tag field** action for each option to set the media type field. These individual actions are then available from the actions menu.
