# Meta Data Editor is missing

I’ve used MP3Tag for years. I recently upgraded to v.3.33 and I no longer see the Meta Data Editor pane at all (it has always been on the left) – all I see is a table of the list of tracks (Filename, Path, Track, Artist, etc).

What do I need to do to view the Meta Data Editor?

I think you refer to the tag panel.  
Try  
View\>Tag-Panel  
or Ctrl-Q  
to show or hide the tag panel

I used both approaches (Cntl-Q and View/Tag Panel). I still cannot edit my tracks. For example, I cannot add the cover art to each track in my selection.

And? Did the Meta data Editor re-appear?

If this is a different problem (e.g. the tag panel is now visible) then please open a new topic.  
In general: more details, screenshots help in many cases.
