I'm trying out MP3Tag and like it, but I need to organize a directory with hundreds of folders. Every time I finish with a folder, I have to wait for the whole directory to reload before I can move on to the next folder. Am I missing something? Is there a way to just move back in the directory tree without clicking on the folder icon and reloading the whole thing? I spend more time waiting than I do editing.

You can just open Finder with the list of folders and use **Open in Mp3tag** from the context menu of the specific folder or use drag and drop to load it in Mp3tag.
