# MP numbering in folders

Do you want the filenames to just be `01.mp3`, `02.mp3`, `03.mp3`, ... or do you want to keep anything what's already part of the filenames now?

Please try to be a little more specific, and maybe even show screenshots. We have a pinned topic [Hints for asking Support Requests](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/hints-for-asking-support-requests/56190) in #Support which should give you an idea.
