# Mp3 file tags editing

How about a way to edit the tag entries individually? I have looked in the program to see if this was already available but haven’t found any way to do this. I have need/desire to be able to remove APE and Lyric tag entries. The only program I have that is able to do this is Winamp.

You can remove any field in the [Tag Panel](https://docs.mp3tag.de/getting-started/main-window/#tag-panel) on the left.
Or you can press Alt + T (View -\> [Extended Tags](https://docs.mp3tag.de/extended-tags/)) and remove every single field.
If you want to remove ALL APE fields at once (and you are really sure that you don't have REPLAYGAIN information that you still need), then you can use the context menu Util -\> [Remove Tag Types](https://docs.mp3tag.de/utils/#remove-tag-types).
Lyrics are stored in the field `UNSYNCEDLYRICS`.
