# MP3-HD support

With the recent release of the MP3-HD/Lossless mp3 enoder/decoder tools (avail [here](http://www.all4mp3.com/Learn_mp3_hd_1.aspx)), will support for this be added to mp3tag? As it stands, upon writing any id3 tag information to an MP3-HD file, mp3tag deletes the lossless data, leaving the resulting file as a standard vbr mp3 (normal vbr is the compatability fallback format).
I only realised this after mass tagging about 1000 MP3-HD, for which the input wav files had been deleted, the result of which is being left with over 1000 nicely tagged lossy files and 0 lossless and little hope of recovering them easily. 😳
