# Mp3tag DELETED my music

Just installed version 2.38 of mp3tag and selected my "my music" directory. Mp3tag then scanned through my music files and only about 10% of my music showed up. I wasn't sure if this was because the rest of my music didn't have any tags, but either way, I navigated to my "my music" directory and I started opening each individual album folder to find that my music was gone. Is this a bug, did mp3tag really delete my music, and is there a way to restore my lost music collection?

This is impossible - you're files must've been gone before starting Mp3tag since during the read process no files are altered.
