# MP3Tag im Kontextmenü

Anstatt MP3Tag im Kontextmenü von jedem Ordner anzuzeigen, wäre es doch angenehmer diese Anzeige dem Ordnerinhalt anzupassen.

Dieses Verhalten der realen Kontextmenüs ist z.B. aus FF bekannt.

Auch der gehasste Media Player zeigt seine Kontexteinträge nur bei Ordnern die entsprechende Medientypen enthalten. Daran könnte man sich orientieren.

da ich die wmp-einträge gelöscht hab 😉 kann ich nur den pfad anbieten, wenn man das manuell ändern will

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\

```

du kannst ja mal die wmp-einträge posten, damit man das evtl. mal an mp3tag anpassen kann.

Der Eintrag "Mit Windows Media Player wiedergeben" ist dabei anscheinend garnicht enthalten.

Dafür muss man meines Wissens extra eine Shell-extension programmieren, eine einfache Registryveränderung tuts nicht.

Genau so ist es!

Mp3tag hatte in 1.xx-Zeiten mal eine Shell-Extension für das Kontextmenü, die dann aber entfernt wurde, da beim Installieren/Deinstallieren von Explorer Shell Extensions der Rechner neu gestartet werden muss.

Jetzt muss ich Interesse halber mal fragen wie so ne Shell extension aussieht. Handelt es sich um eine DLL? Und was muss da code technisch alles gemacht werden. Steht nur der Programmaufruf drin, oder ne Inhaltsanalyse etc. ?

Nachdem ich mich seit dem 1. April 2006 durch "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Writing Shell Extensions" gearbeitet habe, hier meine Lösung:

Wie in den vorigen Posts gezeigt reicht ein entsprechender Registryeintrag. Dank an "[1-abc.net](http://1-abc.net) Right Click Configurator 1.01", womit ich dann die folgenden Einträge erzeugt habe. Man muss halt nur wissen wies geht.

Unter XP Home SP2 funktioniert folgendes super:

```
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio\shell\MP3Tag NEU]
@="MP3Tag NEU"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio\shell\MP3Tag NEU\command]
@="\"C:\\\\Programme\\\\Mp3tag\\\\Mp3tag.exe\" \"/fp:%1\""

```

bzw. außerdem:

```
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio\shell\MP3Tag NEU]
@="MP3Tag NEU"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio\shell\MP3Tag NEU\command]

```

Ich bin nicht sicher ob das letztlich ein und das selbe ist, da diverse Registrypfade bloß alternativen sind und zum gleichen Ziel führen.
