# mp3Tag reading error

Hello, I have been adding all the information to my music library, covers included, and suddenly I find that the vast majority of "mp3tag" files do not read them as if the files had no information, I have tried another program , "tagscaner", and it does read all the information, what can I do to solve it, thank you in advance, I have been using the program for a while and this is the first time this has happened to me, please help. Thank you.

What kind of files are these?
MP3?
If so, do they have APE tags and you have switched on to read APE tags in the Options Ctrl-O Tags\>Mpeg?
What happens if you switch that option off and re-read the files?
