# Mp3tag seems to hang at times

I have been using MP3tag for about 3 years and it is a great program. However over the last year or so it seems to be getting much slower doing certain operations. If I right click on an mp3 or flac file and select "open with mp3tag" then it really takes a while to open. If I have 10 files loaded and I hit "CTRL-S" to save, it goes through all 10 really fast, then hangs for about 10 seconds before the confirmation window pops up saying it is complete. Another example is if I have 10 files loaded and I select all of them, it takes a good 5-6 seconds before I am able to actually put the cursor in the fields and start editing tags. I just don't remember it always being this way. All of my files are encoded with FLAC and encoded to MP3 with Lame. Thanks for any suggestions. Thanks.

I guess this has to do with the harddrive cache. This has to be emptied before the OS reports that everything is fine - have at look at your harddrive LED it should be lit during that time.
