freedb "determine via web-search" always gives "The query returned no results."even when the saem query to the freedb web page does give results. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks, that cured it. But I'm puzzled - what was the cause? Did a freedb change break its own API?

There's no API for the web search, it's just a html site from freedb.org that needs to be parsed. Some minor html code changes made the parsing fail.
