# Mp3tagv319-x64-setup.exe Version spinnt

Hi,
ich wollte gerade die Version mp3tagv319-x64-setup.exe installieren.
Windows 11 latest build
leider passiert da nichts. die setup startet und liest einfach nur Minutenlang meine Verzeichnisse und Dateien ein.
Ich kann das Setup nur über den Taskmanager beenden. weiterhin zeigt es im Taskmanager an, das das Setup eine 32 Bit version sei, obwohl ich doch diese Version geladen habe: mp3tagv319-x64-setup.exe

Es ist die Build Version hier von deiner Download Seite.

Die Pfade sollten dabei jedoch keine Rolle spielen. Ein Setup sollte das tun was der User angibt 😉
Was mich auch stutzig macht. Deine Kompilierung der x64 exe zeigt im Taskmanager an, dass es sich um eine 32Bit Setup handelt.
Evtl. der Fehlerteufel eingeschlichen?

Schon erstaunlich, dass es tausende reibungslose Installationen gibt ...
Hast du denn auch die Hinweise zur Installation befolgt?

Meine Vermutung ist folgende:
Das Installations-Programm (nicht Mp3tag selber) ist in 32-bit geschrieben. Deshalb wird bei beiden Varianten von Mp3tag immer der Zusatz 32bit während dem Setup/Installation im Taskmanager von Windows angezeigt.
Das Programm Mp3tag selber wird dann aber schon in der korrekten Version gestartet, das sieht man z.B. im Menupunkt Hilfe -\> Über Mp3tag -\> im Zusatz hinter der Datumsangabe

Das Problem ist glaube ich, dass Du als Zielverzeichnis `C:\Program Files` und nicht ein geeignetes Unterverzeichnis wie `C:\Program Files\Mp3tag` angegeben hast.
Der Installer ist 32-bit, der Inhalt dann aber 64-bit.
