# Music folders appear empty when opening

Hi. I uninstalled MP3Tag and installed the latest 6a version. I cannot open any directory. All my music folders appear empty as though there are no audio files in them. I have FLAC and MP3 files in music folders. Very odd. Thanks. T.

I would say that this is perfectly normal behaviour:  
If you select folders, then the selection dialogue only shows folders as objects - and not files.  
If there are no subordinate folders any more, then there is nothing more to show.

Actually, I think I sorted it. I need to select the actual album folder and it imports the tag list. Sorry for my senior moment. lol. 🙂
