# New feature suggestion: The GD3 Database as tag source

As a new feature I suggest the following:
let MP3tag besides _freedb_, _Amazon[.com|.de]_, _discogs_ and _MusicBrainz_ use [GD3 **DATABASE**](https://www.getdigitaldata.com/GD3.aspx) as tag source, like 'Exact Audio Copy' is doing on its latest release (RC1 BETA2).

Does it really cost ~10c per lookup, in quantity?
More tag sources are always desireable, but I don't see anyone paying for it.

As far as I know that is correct. Keep in mind though, that one of the strong points of the GD3 Database is his consistancy. Where free databases uses data from different people (and everybody tags his or hers data differently) GD3 Database try to obtain the same quality every time.
