# New version 3.06 many times slower reading directory?

As I am running [3.06a](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/mp3tag-development-build-status/455) ... do you have the same?  
I don't see any differences in loading files.  
I just loaded 267 files in less than 2 seconds.
