# not saving id3v2 tags

hello everyone! i'm hoping someone can help me out. i'm using mp3tag to try to create and save a massive list of mp3s' tags (both id3v1 and v2.) for some reason it keeps saving the v1 tags but not the v2 ones. this is really a pain as v1 is limited in space and cuts off many of the song names.
i've messed around with the settings under tools-\>options-\>tags-\>mpeg but nothing seems to change it. any ideas? thanks!

Please let us know which settings you're using for reading and writing the tags.
