Hi why does the tag of track show the total count once the total count is applied? Im am unable to use the track data because of this.. or is there any other option to get the track number without showing the total count?

If you use the tracknumbering wizard with MP3s and enable the option "Enable total count of tracks" the total count gets part of the track-tagfield.
Anyway it is possible to use and show the track-number in different ways and different locations.

Where do you want to see only the tracknumer?
In a column of MP3tag?
In the filename or anywhere else?

If you want to use the content of `TRACK` in the format string, you can do two things:
a) Change the `TRACK` content to a number only (padded or not)
or
b) use `$num(%track%,2)` to get only the first number (until the first non-numeric separator like `/` )

From the [documentation](https://docs.mp3tag.de/scripting/):

It will be saved automatically if you apply it to your field (like `TITLE` in your case).
Press the arrow-down button to see your list of presets:

To manage your list (New, Duplicate, Delete, Edit, Add a description), use the arrow-right Button and scroll down and click on "Manage history":

> **[Manage List – Mp3tag Documentation](https://docs.mp3tag.de/manage-list/)**
>
> Manage history lists of format strings or filter expressions. Mp3tag is the universal Tag Editor.

Do you really want the track number to be an additional part of the title tag field?

If this is a recurring task, you could also set up a permanent action for it, rather than using the converter and it's history.

Action Goup:
Field: TITLE
Format string: $num(%track%,2). %title%

I would like to add that the introduced redundance may collide with future standards which is why I would suggest a separator between the number and the real title that is used in ordinary text only very few times. This would make it easier to remove the number again later.
The underscore `_` is a good character for this purpose. Much better then the full stop `.` which can also be the part of the ordinary text in the title.
