# Odd Characters In Certain ID3V3 Tags

When I save ID3V2 to mp3s using 2.35 through to 2.36c I get odd characters in only the InvolvedPeople tags. I have changed the encoding (tried all 3) of the ID3V2 tags, erased all tags and retagged from AMG.  
猀猀椀猀琀愀渀渀最椀渀攀攀爀

Nothing seems to help.

Any ideas?

Do you see this in Mp3tag or some other program?

Hello,

I have the same problem. They are apparent in ITunes.

iTunes has no InvolvedPeople tag - you don't have the same problem.

For issues with iTunes, please go to "Options \> Tags \> Mpeg" and choose one of the ID3v2. **3** options and save the tags again.
