Hello all,

I was wondering if you could help me sort a few thousand songs that I currently have in folders by artist and album to year (like 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s etc) and genre? I want the changes to be saved on my external hard drive (where all this music currently is). Thanks for your help!!!

Provided that you have filled tags in the files you can use the converter Tag-Filename and (as an example) the following mask:

f:\mp3music\%artist%\%year% - %album%$num(%track%, 3) \_ %title%

If you want to create a new structure from a more or less chaotic one, you simply enter a fully qualified filename (with drive letter and full path plus the plain filename without suffix).
