Hi, I'm just trying MP3Tag for the first time. I have a number of albums which are mix albums, but which I've only downloaded a few tracks. I've tried to fix their tags by locating the albums using Mp3Tag's search function which quite happily found the album on Discogs. However the tracking matching assumed I had a complete list of tracks and didn't check track numbers to make a match. Hence my downloaded track 7 got overwritten with tags from track 1, my downloaded track 19 got tags from track 2, etc.

Is there any way to search for an album and merge tags based on the track numbers?

You have to align the file in the right list with the titles in the left list by using the up und down buttons next to the list
