# please help with export to text

hello
I need an export to simple TXT format that creates the information from the whole hard disk like this:

## Folder Name
list of all files with extension,
and if applicable: (Artist (from tag) ~ Album(from tag) ~ genre(from tag) ~ year(from tag) ~ bitrate ~ lenght hh:mm:ss in front of each file)
for non music files or files with out tag information, just file size in the front
example:

Please have a look to the Mp3tag website startpage.
There is a list of Mp3tag supported Audio-Formats:
Advanced Audio Coding (aac)
Free Lossless Audio Codec (flac)
Monkey's Audio (ape)
Mpeg Layer 3 (mp3)
MPEG-4 (mp4 / m4a / m4b / iTunes kompatibel)
Musepack (mpc)
Ogg Vorbis (ogg)
OptimFROG (ofr)
OptimFROG DualStream (ofs)
Speex (spx)
True Audio (tta)
Windows Media Audio (wma)
WavPack (wv)
I think that there is no way to have your wish fully supported by Mp3tag.
As I understand, Mp3tag acts as a filter and collects and displays only those supported file formats.
And please have a look to your harddisk. How many file entries do you expect to list in the textfile?
Do you really want to mirror your harddisk in the textfile?

Mp3tag only works for music files so you cannot write informations of other files in an export file. Therefor you need other programs that scan your harddisk and write file infos into one text-file. But I don't know one.

Maybe ... TotalCommander with Mp3Tag-plugins installed ???
