Removing leading numbers has been addressed in the FAQs and HowTos

Actually, I would not want to have anything like an automatic removal of leading numbers as this would render some titles meaningless. I think of
"19" by Paul Hardcastle
"25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago,
"1000 hours" by Green Day
"2 A.M" by Iron Maiden
"3 Black Crows" by Blackmore's Night
"50 ways to leave your lover" by Paul Simon
and so on.
I think you get why I am not too enthusiastic.
