# Portable install method

Since answers to my question at to [Portable installation](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/1680/1) have been prohibited by a someone for unspecified reasons, I repeat the question here:

Has anyone else tried this method and found it sufficient - to make a portable Mp3Tag installation?

I have MP3tag installed on an external USB drive and use that installation with several computers and OS (XP, Vista, 7). Actions, settings are taken from the MP3tag program directory on the external drive.
