# Problem opening m3u playlist

Hi  
I am trying to open a large M3U playlist which I have exported from iTunes in order to split it into smaller playlists by artist. However MP3Tag is ignoring any file that has a special character in it such as ñ, Ö, ü etc.

When I read this files in directly into MP3Tag there is no problem, its only when they are read in via an M3U playlist

How do I get MP3Tag to read these file names from within a M3U playlist as well please.

Open the file with Notepad and just save it.
