# Problem with nokia player

I removed some information from tag leaving only artist and title. But on my nokia n96 player there are still information like genre or album name which I don't need and I have no idea where are they from (for example genre on nokia player is different than the one automatically added in Winamp). Any idea what I've done wrong? What I suppose to do? Thanks

check, what types of tags there are in your files. it sounds to me as though you you have APE tags in them.
Delete anything that is not a tag V1.
