# Progress on WMA Rating fix?

Any progress on fixing the incompatibility of mp3tag Rating (placeholder %rating%) with WMA files esp. as viewed in WMP and Explorer?

It seems that I'm not able to tell WMP to commit the changes I've made through WMP to the file. This seems to be really hard to use.

WMP V9: Wait, or stop play or stop CPU intensive processes, or all three ☹  
WMP V10: Tools | Process Media Information Now  
WMP V11: Tools | Apply Media Information Changes

Agreed. That's why I want to be able to use mp3tag instead! 😉
