# $put-$loop-$get-$loopend failure

This bug has been around for a while, but since I can find no report, I hereby file one.

In and Export config, this:

```
$puts(y,999)
$loop(%dummy%) Expected "999", got "$get(y)",$loopend()

```

gives:

> [@](#):
>
> Expected "999", got ""

Are there plans to fix this?
