# Random sorting ("View/Sort by.../Random")

It would be interesting to add "View/Sort by.../Random" feature so we could generate afterwards randomized playlist through (ctrl+p) or (ctrl+k).

Yes, give random sorting its own menu item so the users don't have to search for it.

As of [Mp3tag v3.03b](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/455), the menu "View \> Sort By" has a dedicated "Randomize" entry for random sorting aka shuffle.
