# Reg Ex to fix iTunes tracks and discs not working

Whenever I use the following to try to fix track numbers and disc numbers it doesn't work.

Regular Expression: ^( \d+)/\d+

Replace with: $1

Please Help?

Sorry! That was a typo. I am actually using $1 and not %1.

I can't figure out why this isn't working.

This RegExp works for me: **^(\d+)/\d+**  
but this not: **^( \d+)/\d+**  
Do you see why?
