hi guys hope you can help me out I have been using mp3tag for some time now but just to do little thing like name files & so on. I have been using actions to rename stuff but I'm stuck on a action & I'm hoping you guy can help.

I'm trying to rename files in from this format:

01- ARTIST - TITLE (REMIX).mp3
ARTIST - TITLE (REMIX).mp3
ARTIST (FT ARTIST) - TITLE (REMIX).mp3
ARTIST - TITLE (TITLE) (REMIX).mp3

to this format:

01- ARTIST - TITLE - REMIX.mp3
ARTIST - TITLE - REMIX.mp3
ARTIST (FT ARTIST) - TITLE - REMIX.mp3
ARTIST - TITLE (TITLE) - REMIX.mp3

anyone help please 🙂

</div>

Use the function Convert\>Filename-Filename with

Mask over old name: %1 (REMIX)
Mask over new name: %1 - REMIX

If you need an action, you can use a simple Replace with
Search: (REMIX)
Replace: - REMIX
