# Remove all album artwork

Would somebody please give me a step by step guide on how to batch remove all album artwork from each and every file. Please treat me as an idiot because I have been trying to work out how to do this for days.

About what files do you speak of, are they music files?
Do you want the Mp3tag application help you to reach your goal?
How do you rate your knowledge in relation to basic window based computer operations?
[_] never used a window based computer yet.
[_] used a window based computer, keyboard and mouse.
[_] can operate with application dialogs (read, think, decide, point, click) .
[_] can operate with application dialogs (read, think, decide, point, click) error free.
What the heck, why do you want to delete all the pictures from your music files?!?!?

I want to use MP3tag to remove all mp3 and mp4 cover artwork.
I build my own computers etc but can't seem to understand how to use MP3tag!!!
I wish there was an easy way to do this - a button to do this would be cool!

Voila ... there is a button ...
e. g. in the dialog "Extended Tags" and there might be other cover related places in Mp3tag where the right click context menu is available.

OK...so if I select all files first, then extended tags, the option you show is greyed out!
What am I doing wrong?

I do not see an option, but the red cross button grayed out when the selected file does not contain a cover image.
