# Remove comment - not option

In recent versions, I do not see the "Delete comment" option from tags. How do I set up deleting comments automatically?

I think I read a thread that this function was phased out somewhere around 2005 or something.

Now, you would have to run an action to delete one or more fields.

In previous versions, it was an option, and now it can not be. I have to delete manually. It's time to look for an alternative to mp3tag because the program is already breaking down.

There is none. To remove a field you either blank it in the tag panel, chose `<delete>` from the dropdown list, press the red X in the extended tags dialogue or use an action of the described kind.  
There is no special function to deal with comments.
