Hi!
I tried to remove some songs from the listview, but the only option to do this would be to delete the actual files from the file system (hold ctrl). Is there a way to remove songs from the list without deleting them from the filesystem?

No. The only thing you can do is to move them to the bottom of the list.

You may set a filter which shows you all the files you want to see, and hide the other files.
Create a new column in grid view and fill the new field on each line you want to see with some special toggle character e.g. 'x'.
Now set a filter which display all the lines which do contain the toggle character.
