# Remove string from filename

You can do the replace in Mp3tag.  
Make a [new action](https://community.mp3tag.de/t/967/1):

_Action type:_ **Replace**  
_Field:_ **\_FILENAME**  
_Original:_ " **( 2o1o ) [Promotions done by Joe!!]**" (without quotes)  
_Replace with:_
