# Removing certain parts of the title...

I have been looking around in the software, and also on this forum, but I am a total newbie with this... and I have no idea what to do! :-/
Basically, I was wondering if there was some way of removing a certain part of the "title". Like for instance, I seem to have loads of MP3s with "(Album Version)" preceding the title. I was just wondering if there is a way I could remove them in bulk/batch? Any help would be much appreciated!

Search and replace works for me. In your case, use "(Album Version) " -remember the space at the end- as the search string, and nothing as the replace string. And it faithfully replaces it with nothing.
Select [Actions (Quick)],
Select action type "Replace"
Enter the field you're interested in. (Title??)
In [Original] use the (album version) string as outlined above.
Be sure to leave [Replace With] blank.
Click OK, and away you go.
