# Removing ID3 tags from oggs

Is it possible to get rid of ID3 tags from ogg files using mp3tag and leave only valid ogg comments? These ID3 tags were inserted via wrong configuration of EAC ripper and some players (e.g. WinAmp) consider ID3-infected oggs as unplayable.

Is it ID3v1 or ID3v2?
You can try "Remove Tags" Ctrl+R and then "Undo" but I think it was only implemented for flac.

Well, I don't know, I just know WinAmp rejects some of my oggs and I was told it is because of misplaced ID3 tags. It is well possible there are both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags there.
