# Removing number from title

I would like to ask, I have these files with their title in id3 as
01.track1
02.track2
I would like to know how to remove the number, taking into account the . as . removes any type of character

_Action type:_ **Replace with regular expression**
_Field:_ **TITLE**
_Regular expression:_ **^\d\*.**
_Replace matches with:_
[] case-sensitive comparison

my ChopLeadingTrackNoFromTitle regex replace action has:
^\d{0,3}[- .\_]\*
(chop off up to 3 leading digits and blanks/dots/dashes/underscores that may follow them)
don't apply this to Nena's song "99 Luftballone" ... 😃
