# Removing the final character

Replace "Title": "." -\> ""
I know the above expression will remove the full stops in the title tags.
However,
I have some titles that have text like ""Dr. Smith said", or "U.S" of "U.K" etc.
Is there a way of rewriting the expression so it just removes the final full stop from the tag?
Any help appreciated!

You can use "Replace with regular expression"
The expression **.$** will match a dot if it is at the end of the line.
